How do I get tickets to OPUS 1?
Tickets are free and can be reserved here. Reserve your tickets ahead of time to expedite entry. Tickets will also be available at the door.
What are the hours for OPUS 1?
Parking opens at 3pm. The festival begins at 4pm and ends at 11pm on October 7th, 2017.
How do I get to OPUS 1?
OPUS 1 takes place at Merriweather Post Pavilion and the Symphony Woods, located at 10475 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia, MD 21044.
Rally Bus is available to take you to OPUS 1 from many locations in the DMV area. We encourage this option as an environmentally friendly form of travel.

FROM WASHINGTON/NORTHERN VIRGINIA
Take the Beltway (495) to 95 North towards Baltimore (approximately 18 miles) to Route 32 West towards Columbia to Route 29 North. Take Broken Land Parkway (exit 18B) and take the first right into the Merriweather Parking Lot.
FROM SOUTHERN BALTIMORE CO. & BALTIMORE CITY (i.e. Catonsville, Arbutus, Landsdowne, Linthicum, etc…)
Take Interstate 95 South to Route 100 West to Route 29 South. Follow Route 29 South for 3.5 miles to South Entrance Rd. Turn right and then left onto Symphony Woods Rd. into the Merriweather Parking Lot.
FROM NORTHERN BALTIMORE (i.e. Towson, Randallstown, Pikesville, etc…)
Take the Beltway (695) to Interstate 70 (exit 16) to Route 29 South. Follow Route 29 south approximately 5 miles to South Entrance Rd. Turn right and then left onto Symphony Woods Rd. into the Merriweather Parking Lot.
Take Route 50 West to 97 North to Route 100 West to Route 29 South. Follow Route 29 South approximately 3.5 miles to South Entrance Rd. Turn right onto South Entrance Rd. and then left onto Symphony Woods Rd. into the Merriweather Parking Lot.
FROM WESTERN MARYLAND
Take Interstate 70 (exit 16) to Route 29 South. Follow Route 29 South approximately 5 miles to South Entrance Rd. Turn right onto South Entrance Rd. and then left onto Symphony Woods Rd. into the Merriweather Parking lot.
Where do I park once I get there?
Parking is available in Lots 2-6. There is plenty of parking surrounding Merriweather Post Pavilion. Once you approach the grounds, park as directed by parking attendants.
Is there ADA parking available?
Accessible parking is available for ADA guests. Please access ADA parking via Merriweather Drive and follow directions, directed by parking attendants to Lot 1.
I am coming from out of town. Is there lodging nearby?

Is OPUS 1 all ages? Can I bring my child?
Yes, OPUS 1 is an all ages event and families are welcome. Please be aware that strobe lights and concert music will be occurring at the event.
Can I bring my pet? What about service animals?
Sorry, but pets are not permitted. Service animals are welcome.
Can I bring an empty water bottle?
One empty or factory-sealed water bottle is allowed, per guest. No other outside beverages, bottles, cans, or coolers are allowed.
Refill stations are available throughout the property.
Can I bring a camera?
Yes, cameras are allowed. Recording devices are not allowed.
Can I get a press pass?

Yes. Restrooms are located throughout the site. Please refer to the map.
Is smoking allowed on site? What about vapes and e-cigarettes?
Howard County law prohibits smoking in public places. No smoking is allowed.
Are there services, parking, and viewing areas for ADA guests?
Accessible parking is available, please see above. Wheelchair accessibility is available within the Merriweather Post Pavilion grounds and at the Chrysalis Stage. Please visit an information booth if additional assistance is required.
Will there be ATMs on site?
Yes. ATMs are located throughout the site. Please refer to the map.
Will there be food available on site? Are there vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options?
Yes. Food will be available for purchase at the Culinary Village and some concession stands throughout the Merriweather Post Pavilion grounds. There will be something for everybody! Please refer to the map.
Will there be alcohol available on site?
Yes. Beer, wine, and alcohol will be for sale throughout the site. Please refer to the map.
What if it rains?
OPUS 1 will take place rain or shine. Personal umbrellas and ponchos are allowed inside.
Where is the lost and found?
Lost and found is located in the Administrative Office. If you lose something, go to that location, call 410-715-5550, or email email@example.com
Will there be merchandise available for purchase?
Yes, there will be merchandise available for purchase at concession stands.
What should I expect from security screening?
All patrons are subject to complete search. Persons that refuse to comply with the search policy will be refused entry into the event. Guests subject to removal at any time if festival regulations are not followed.
