Indulge in a feast for your senses amidst the Symphony Woods. There is a wide variety of scrumptious dishes curated from Richmond, VA to Baltimore, MD and everywhere in between. If you haven’t had a chance to try the famous Lychee Salad at Rose’s Luxury, don’t worry… we got you! Just to give you a taste, we are offering handmade Cuban empanadas, award-winning gelati, the best arepas in the area, a sausage sandwich perfect for your craft Oktoberfest beer, Philly cheesesteak rolls, poke bowls, açai bowls and so much more

Garden Bar

Your craft beer oasis awaits you in the Garden Bar. With over 12 craft beers flowing on tap, there is a small batch beer waiting for you to try. Sip with your friends while putting your feet up in the garden lounge. It’s the perfect viewing perch to take in everything that is OPUS.

  • WILL THERE BE FOOD AVAILABLE?

    Yes! We will have a feast for your senses available in the Culinary Village and Garden Bar. With over fifteen food stands, food trucks, and mobile vending options, there is plenty to indulge in all evening long. OPUS has curated culinary talents from Richmond, VA to Baltimore, MD. If you haven’t had a chance yet to try the famous Lychee Salad from Rose’s Luxury, don’t worry! We got you.

  • WILL THERE BE VEGAN/GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS? 

    There sure will be! We have a variety of options to fuel you throughout OPUS. Between Açai bowls, Spanish roasted vegetables, and tofu sloppy joes, we have your dietary needs covered. Just make sure to let the food provider know your specific dietary request, when ordering.

  • IS OPUS AN ALL-AGES EVENT?

    Yes, children are welcome! Please be advised there is some very brief nudity in one of the art installations. Signage and festival staff will be present to inform festival goers. The event will feature some strobe lights and concert music.

  • WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO GET TO OPUS?

    Parking opens at 4pm and detailed driving directions can be found HERE. Once you approach Merriweather Post Pavilion (10475 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia, MD 21044), parking attendants will direct you where to go.

    We recommend reserving your parking ahead of time. Please register HERE.

  • WHAT ARE THE HOURS FOR OPUS?

    Parking opens at 4pm. Doors open at 4:30pm and the festival begins at 5pm and ends at 11pm on October 13th, 2018.

  • IS THERE ADA PARKING AVAILABLE?

    Accessible parking is available for ADA guests. Please access via Merriweather Drive and follow directions, directed by parking attendants to Lot 1.

    From the Administrative House go to the bottom of the driveway and turn left onto Symphony Woods Dr. and then make a left onto South Entrance Road. Turn left at the light onto Little Patuxent Parkway, go through the next light and then turn left at the next entrance off Little Patuxent. There is a handicapped sign. Follow the road down to Handicapped Parking.

  • IS THERE LODGING NEARBY?

    There are plenty of places to stay in the Merriweather area. This a selection of some of the neighboring hotels.

  • CAN I BRING MY PET?

    Sorry, but pets are not permitted. Service animals are welcome.

  • CAN I BRING AN EMPTY WATER BOTTLE?

    One empty or factory-sealed water bottle is allowed, per guest. No other outside beverages, bottles, cans, or coolers are allowed. Refill stations are available within Merriweather Post Pavilion.

  • CAN I BRING A CAMERA?

    Yes, cameras are allowed. However, NO professional SLR cameras (with a removable lens) or recording devices are permitted.

  • CAN I GET A PRESS PASS?

  • WHAT CAN I BRING?

    One factory-sealed water bottle or empty plastic bottle per person

  • WILL THERE BE FIRST-AID ON SITE?

    Yes.

  • WILL THERE BE RESTROOMS ON SITE?

    Yes. Restrooms are located throughout the site. Please refer to the map.

  • IS SMOKING ALLOWED ON SITE?

    Howard County law prohibits smoking in public places. No smoking is allowed.

  • ARE THERE AREAS FOR ADA GUESTS?

    Accessible parking is available, please see above. Wheelchair accessibility is available within the Merriweather Post Pavilion grounds and at the Chrysalis Stage. Please visit an information booth if additional assistance is required.

  • WILL THERE BE ATMS ON SITE?

    Yes. ATMs are located throughout the site. Please refer to the map.

  • WILL THERE BE ALCOHOL AVAILABLE ON SITE?

    Yes. Beer, wine, and alcohol will be on sale throughout the site. Please refer to the map.

  • WHAT IF IT RAINS?

    OPUS will take place rain or shine. Umbrellas and ponchos are allowed inside.

  • WHERE IS LOST AND FOUND?

    Lost and found during the event is located at the Yurt. Please ask any staff members if you need help finding the location.

    After the event all lost and found is moved to the Administrative Office. If you lose something, go to that location, call 410-715-5550, or email info@merriweathermusic.com

  • WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM SECURITY SCREENING?

    All patrons are subject to complete search. Persons that refuse to comply with the search policy will be refused entry into the event. Guests subject to removal at any time if festival regulations are not followed.
